Align Tool
The align tool crosshair utility contains
four elements, first there is the tool's background box which can be resized to
any size you want it to be. Both height and width can be adjusted independently
to make any size box or rectangle by placing your cursor at the right side edge
or the bottom edge then click, hold, & drag to the desired size. The three
remaining elements are a centered circle, a centered X, and a centered double
lined reticle.
Each of these elements can be customized independently for color
and thickness or even turned off if needed. The retcule can be set to single or
double lines, if set to double lines the spacing between the lines can be
adjusted.
Astrometric Tool The Astrometric
tool has four types of measuring scales that are included, for measuring double star
angular separations, position angles, planetary diameters, and lunar crater diameters,
as well as many other useful astronomical measurements. Included also is a double-crossline
scale for long-exposure photo-guiding, making the Astrometric Tool truly an all-purpose
reticle system
Ruler Tool The ruler tool allows the
imager to place multiple fully customizable rulers on the screen in both
horizontal and verticle orientations. This tool has many uses, one of the most
obvious is when postitioning a target object after a filter change or
repositioning a target object correctly when imaging the same target over
multiple imaging runs or multiple nights of imaging the same target.
Night Mode Tired of Envisage's lack of
true nightmode? Well look no further! The imager's toolkit includes a red screen
tool (nightmode) that is customizable and includes 'click through' so that you
still have access to all of the underlying software's settings and dialog boxes!
Typing Shift-S will bring up the settings dialog where you can customize the
color of the screen and it's opacity.
